A project that's been in the making since my Sophomore year of high school

This page visually represents the journey I took to create my very first original character. I try to follow the steps of character creation from the perspective of animators and concept artists in the gaming industry. The plan is to ensure I work on this even outside of my high school career to show the growth of my character and art style.

Introducing...

Hans Eisenberg

Born in the past and woke up during modern times. Hans was born in Brooklyn, New York during the 1930s. He stands at a proud 6'5" with blue and green eyes, and dark hair complimented with a beard. His face is stern and intimidating but in reality, he's a gentle giant. Many of the choices made were either creator's choice or inspired by different aspects of my friend group.

What's his story?

His story is still a work in progress. However, I plan to stick with the idea of him being born in the past and waking up in the present. From there, I want to tackle the major differences in life between the two times. I hope to talk about mental health, the concept of finding one's identity, and many other topics important in the modern-day that the past didn't talk about.

Of course, I want him to have his own story so I will ensure to add more of his background over time. By the end of the summer, I hope to have a timeline of his life alongside the different milestones he's had.

What's the final goal?

Again, hopefully, by the end of summer, I'll be able to have a proper background and final designs to use in the future. If possible, I'd love to share what I've created and tell his story through a comic.
